Ok-- so the OP's original question was "what was your interest level" NOT what you're watching. Before I answer the actual question, I'd like to state that ANY Professional athlete in any sport has put the same desire,effort and sacrifices into making it to that level as any Pro moto guy does, and perhaps more. When I was a youngster, I was an excellent baseball and football player ,and was actually scouted by 3 Pro MLB teams, but I discovered moto when I was 14 -ish and split my time between baseball and moto, I never got a contract with...

Very basic & rough calculation $2M for bike $1M for all gear $1M per championship 12 wins @ $150k a win, $1.8M 2nd & 3rd place bonuses + miscellaneous sponsors, exhibition races, $1M… $7M gross. $1M in expenses. Tax on $6M, 37% federal + 4.5% for Colorado. I would guess he’s gonna net $3.5M this season on the low end

Each time these things have been discussed on the moto pods, Weege has made the point that it's not really the track, it's the parking and ability to deal with the ridiculous crowd numbers.. So Washagoul/Southwick etc he isolated as out just because of that... Ironman, GH, or some of the weird venues that don't hold nationals that are huge, is it Swan in Texas? And/or Monster Mountain?

I came to say this. I think it's bs that the guy who gets 13 basically gets the choice to bump the guy who would have had 99 off the 2 digit list. This could be a big deal to that guy as it should be.

It would be too complicated, but they should let "next man up" take it. If Thrasher didn't want it, then offer to Mosiman. If he doesn't want it, offer to Brown, etc.

Maybe I’m delusional, but if somebody could revive AXO and bring back the early/mid 90’s colorways and design with modern materials and cuts, they’d probably take over the largest buyer demo for moto gear...the vet guys Somebody with enough money AND passion is going to figure it out eventually😂

At the suggestion of someone in the Star Racing Yamaha thread...let's see if we can round up all the riders from Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit Kawasaki (and first two years as Peak Honda) team. Just racing sx he can fly in 1 day out the next and be home all week. Since his whole program is at home that's a fairly light schedule as far as travel. I'm in the go out on top club and milk sx for a few more dollars.

Jeff Emig overcame a SPEECH IMPEDIMENT to become a professional broadcast announcer. I will never stop rooting for that guy to succeed in the booth. Ralph's voice is actually great when the intensity is maxed out. Go back and imagine watching Atlanta 2011 with Leigh Diffy on the last lap. If Ralph screws up a few facts, no biggie. Kinda funny, actually, when it happens.

Ping is probably the best in the industry at interviewing and getting guests to feel comfortable and let their guard down a little. In my opinion, he has the best podcast in the world of moto. In the future, I hope he gets GL back as a co-host. He added a lot of humor to the show. Can’t wait for the DV934 episode coming up.
