I think you have the right idea. If anybody remembers Mcgrath and Ferry on Yamaha's. mMcgrath tried ferry's motor combo out and said it was way too fast! That was almost 20 years ago. 450's are different Animal's.

That was the bike i dreamed as teen, Tried one a few year ago. Great bike Fast,Stable but turning the thing was a different story! Would still love too own one.

Watch a 250sx vx 350SXF a couple month's ago, looks like you made the right choice, 250 looked very powerful. But the 350 looked a lot smoother and far more traction. Same rider, different day's. Same track!
