Yea once the recall is completed. The dealer knows which one needs the recall. Some need the whole frame replaced but still a great bike and fun to ride

Yeah man i'm not sure. Maybe had nothing to do with clamps. Let me rephrase. I felt better with the x trigs on than the stock clamps! I could see minnesota pulling 3rd gear more. The corners are long & soft. The tracks in Cali have a lot less traction, makes carrying the speed a little tougher. Maybe you are just going that much faster than me! You can ask around in Minnesota about me but i'll tell you straight to face through the computer that I am pretty loco.

Welp. Joined team green yesterday - rebates had me in under $7k. Putz’d around this morning for break in. Gonna dump the oil and get susp setup this week in prep for some track time on Friday. Absolutely stoked.

Package secured. Take it home, grease it, throw springs in it, grips, and some other odds and ends, and first ride Wednesday.

Just picked up my 24 kx450 last weekend. Went in to get my boy a CRF125F and just couldn’t turn down the deal. Worked out a deal for the two of them that got the price on the 450 to $6500 😁

I can hands down say the 24 kx450 is the best 450 I've ever owned or ridden but for me still took more to get setup than my 350. Yes my 350 has kyb forks but besides that is stock and I ride multiple tracks without touching a single click. I also don't feel you need to ride the 23+ 350sxf super high in the revs like you used to. I personally ride both my 350 and 450 very similar in the meat of the powerband and still go faster on 350. Either way I don't think you'd be disappointed...

So I’ve gone back and forth lately 350 to 450 and back again. right now I’ve noticed I just prefer to be in the low end, I don’t like hitting sections heavy throttle and high rpm’s. also it’s a chassis/suspension thing. I’ll get the 350 feeling great one day and completely struggle the next, and repeat. every time I consider getting the suspension set up, then my brain says but “spring forks” and then the 600 revalve turns into 2k… and then I just don’t get it done, and then I continue the cycle lol. so for me going kawi...

I talked to a suspension tuner about this, and he told me there is nothing wrong with adding oil through the bleed hole. If you don’t know how much to add, add 10 ml at a time to each leg until your bottoming is reduced or eliminated. This won’t do the same thing or take the place of a stiffer spring, however.

I was thinking of adding oil also. Has anyone here tried it? I like the suspension stock but it does tend to blow through the last 3 inches pretty fast so far. Obviously if it’s my fault on timing a jump or something I have to do my job on the bike but I just would like some insurance on...

Adding 50cc in one shot into the bleed screw is not a good idea. The bleed screws lead to the space in the inner cartridge that is above the compression assembly free piston. You need the oil in the outer chamber, not the inner chamber. Yes, the oil "should" eventually work its way through the bleed holes to the outer chamber as the fork cycles, but 50cc is a lot for this and could cause some hydraulic locking initially until it woks to the outer chamber. Also, it is tedious to try to get that much oil in through the...

The stock fork oil volume (just like the previous generation) is 321ml. On the previous generation bike, I was much happier after raising the fork oil volume to 370ml. If I want to try this on the '24, is there any reason I couldn't just use a syringe to inject 50ml of fork fluid through the air bleed holes on the fork to accomplish this?

So I finally found a bike and went and picked it up. I purchased a 24 kx 450 anniversary edition. 9100 out the door at wheels in motion in chatsworth California. Mathew Avila was my salesrep and he did a great job. Just a 4 hour drive and they performed the recall on the frame while I was there and...

Shipping is no longer that cheap but you can definitely buy bikes cheaper on the east side . For my. Grandson the last two years I've bought a husky 85 big and little wheel. 23 husky 125 the minute it became available (efi, El start) a gas gas 125 (to replace the shitty first year husky) and gg 250f. Not a single bike did I pay over MSRP otd. Even used the gg rebates on the 125 and 250 (61 and 6700 otd ) Bought one in miss, one in Tenn and 2 in Ga (I live in bama so...
