Yeah its about the same thing ,if you only ride one class it can be a very long day , 30 minutes of riding time. You have to run 2-3 classes for it to be worth burning a whole day.But then 25.00-30.00 bucks a class makes it an expensivw day also.

I would trade my WR250F for my old KDX200 any day , I don"t ride that much anymore, the WR just feels top heavy and I Don"t like the power . the Kawi was so comfortable.

Rupp scrambler, then a real bike 1974 YZ80A .it was pretty slow, and then i bought a 1976 RM80, so much faster.

I myself prefer purple powerbands on the clutch for that extra ooooomph.

Crank seals are probably shot and sucking air, in left side,and maybe trans oil in right side. By placing hand over carb opening you are creating vacuum sucking in enough fuel to start. Carb passages clogged?

I think that year KX had a purple powerband for third gear and a blue one for fourth.

I have used a little pencil torch on the area the pin threads into the caliper,heat it up and spray some PB blaster or any other penetrating oil on it . Good luck.

I think the best thing to do to that bike is to have the head rechambered, then you dont have to worry about always finding the same race gas. and it will be more consistant with jetting.

The best aluminum polish i have ever seen is Wenol,{available at most harley shops}, I have used just about every kind of polish , but nothing even comes close to the shine you get. It comes in a tube like toothpaste.

In my area a dealer is selling 07 KX85's for 1700.00, no wonder i cant sell my used RM85's.

It wasn" a t-bone or a center punch, he just took him wide,if the situation was reversed stewert would have done the same thing.

Check to see if the sleeve has a taper for the o-ring on both ends, if it does you can put it in backwords,and now the seal will ride on a fresh surface, this will only work if the seal doesn"t ride on the center of the sleeve. Good luck.
