is some where in my case. was rushing to get my motor back together today and dropped the dam thing in there, ive been fishing around for hours with a magnet, and not sure if theres any other tricks out there. anyone have any ideas?

Pull the lower end out of the frame, flip it upside down ,and blow it out with compressed air. If you still can't get it out, try flushing it with gas while upside down. Next time stuff a rag in the cases so nothing can fall in while you are working on the top end. Good luck.

thanks, haha i had a rag in there but wasnt in there good enough, one little hole in the rag and it went right through. thanks

I didn"t see the part of your post about knowing everything, so I would just put it back together, it wont hurt anything,the clip will just get spit out the exhaust. yours truly Jack Mehoff

you don't have to pull the motor out of the frame lay the bike over and either use some of your mixed gas or compressed air and flush it out also with a min mag style flaslight see it you can spot it and them try your magnet.

Put a heavy magnet on the crankshaft, rotate the crank, clip will attach to the crank and rotate to the top!

got it out, took the flywheel cover of and theres a BIG oil passage way into the bottom of the case, put my magnet in there and out it came. got it back together on monay, rode tuesday and all is good. thanks for the help.
