They talked him up in the LCQ. he took 4th, I think. I was bummed when he crashed in the main. Good luck this weekend, Scott. I'll be rooting for you!

So the rules regarding a red light and Red Cross flag remain unchanged, so how about those penalties for last weekend? Because not once has there been a rule in the rule book that said you can jump on a red light or red cross flag.

Doesn't really clear up the "the lead in lights were off but the red cross flag was still out" in the 450s.Still sounds like there should have been a penalty there.

This Red flag/light thing has become a confusing mess and needs to be addressed for safety sake. Realistic scenario: Rider crashes and tumbles to the landing of a finish line jump(happened)…but say he is down hard and med crew goes out(happens every weekend). Then someone goes by the red light and misses seeing it(like Brown did…happened) but sees the Red Cross flag and thinks “I didn’t see a light and AMA says I can jump without it”. Lands on Med crew and downed rider. Scary Disaster!! The AMA NEEDS TO RESET THIS WEEKND!! Go into the MANDATORY rider meeting and...

Verbal communication is good enough? Not the brightest bulb in the shed are you? So if my cop friend tells me, hey, the new speed limit on the highway is 100mph, then I'm ok to go 100mph on it? Doesn't matter what the written law is, a cop told me it's different. He also told my neighbor it's 40mph... He doesn't like him as much.

Here's what I consider to be the main issue: Mike P said, in that interview, that lead lights are NOT currently part of the rule book. The rule book says to NOT jump on a red light. The light that flashed, was red. Lead in or not, is irrelevant, the rule book says red light. So, by not enforcing any penalties, they are essentially ignoring their own rule book. This cannot be a thing in a professional sport, or have we officially converted to a circus?

Honda legitimately needs to take this to court if they wont fix it. Millions of dollars on the line and a clearly defined rule book. Make this a whole fuckin thing.
