1/24/2012 11:38am PBS has been running a program entitled "A Brief History of Disbelief." A must see for all you religion arguers. People of faith will have a hard time with it, but it will give them a better idea of why some of us are atheists. My born-again wife couldn't hang, but she didn't make the kids stop watching, God bless...

motogeezer (MD) Added a reply to moving to the 909...maybe?
4/16/2016 6:29pm Yes, I'm in YL, a few blocks from Dick Nixon's house. I grew up in Garden Grove, spent my formative years in Fullerton, and moved here when I had kids. My part of YL is a lot like GG was back in the day (still a lot of agriculture, and free avacados growing everywhere.) I did go to the trans...

3/28/2008 4:43pm Hey, fcr. I'm 3rd generation CA, too. My grand parents on both sides came here in the early 1900s, as little kids. Things have changed a lot, just in my life time, but I still can't imagine living anywhere else. I've spent time in lots of the states, and they all have their plusses and minuses. When all's said and...

4/16/2016 6:28pm Believe it, or not, down town Long Beach is becoming a nice little community. Kind of like Fullerton, but bigger. You need to talk to someone who knows the area before you choose a neighborhood, though. Speaking of Fullerton, there are a lot of reasonably priced rentals around the college and university, many of which will be vacant, come June...

4/16/2016 6:27pm My wife was Catholic when we met. It took a few years, but I finally convinced her that she was into some pretty heavy witchcraft, and got her to bail. She was raised Catholic, and didn't even know that every Catholic church has body parts from a saint in it. Now she's a Born Again, and I can deal with...

Let's try to remember to talk about it a week or so before the event. Is that the golf course with the topless women?

3/20/2008 12:49pm There are also issues with some of the earlier bikes internals. Some of the nuts and bolts that were spec'd for Lock-Tite got missed, and stuff can come loose. Check your serial # on a Canondale site.
