2000 Ford Ranger 28 mpg

Paid 5K cash for it off Ebay. A/C blows cold, radio/CD plays fine, what else you need?

No payments here, thank you.

1991 Geo Metro!
Just filled it up yesterday. I managed 315 miles on 7 gallons of gasoline. Cost me $23.
45mpg

I just bought a 2000 Dodge B2500 Cargo van yesterday. The guy I bought it from claims 15-18mpg.

My 1997 S10, before I blew a piston, got me about 23-25mpg.

2003 Toyota Echo, about 35-38mpg. I drove a Tercel that was as old as I was in high school, though, and it was pretty easy on gas too.

I learned to drive in a Dodge Neon, so I'm horribly uncomfortable driving anything larger than a compact car.

Anybody want a 2007 Honda Ridgeline with about 7800 miles? Nice "truck" but I have gotten over 16MPG from a tank ONCE. It typically is 15-16 every tank and my commute is 32 miles each way. I get more miles from our '03 Accord on about 5 gal. less gas compared to the Ridgeline. I was just looking on websites yesterday to see what 2005-2006 vehicles are available that get 25-30 MPG. Thinking I might have to dump the Ridgeline for a used compact/commuter car and an older pick-up for dirt biking/home depot runs.

I have been cutting back on driving this thing lately

The wife has a 2008 Toyota Corolla
26 mpg city / 35 mpg highway
When we head out as a family we take her car

I have been thinking about getting a small street bike or moped, and then only using the truck when I head to the track.

1984 Toyota 2wd pickup, 22-25 mpg. Bought it from the original owner 3 years ago w/52,000 original miles for $1200. Cheap liscense, cheap insurance & runs great on the cheapest regular I can find. I figure if I take care of it it's good for another 200 thousand miles.

94' Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 16 mpg

98' F 150 Triton V8 4.6 L 17mpg (but I only drive in on Freeways)

73' Porsche 914 1.7L gone thru ever freaking vacuum line on that thing and still only get MAYBE 20mpg.

And today at 10 AM I pick up my new ride, a 2008 Specialized Epic Comp and I hope to get about 30 mpg per gallon of gatorade.

To make me feel better I look out the window at an old van of mine that is now nothing more than a rolling storage shed (no longer runs) it was a 1 ton Ford van with some 400 and something cubic inch engine and it got maybe 7 mpg back in the day.

2002 Dodge Intrepid 22mpg

1990 Astro van 19 mpg
1999 Astro van (in garage waiting to break out) 16-18 mpg

I miss my Hurricane terribly and with the gas prics am tempted to get another street bike but the cell ph & idiot drivers these days scare me. I could ride my 2002 KTM 520 EXC to wk (short distance) but something tells me it would hurt the longevity of it so I don't.

Has anyone ever re-geared their vehicle? I'm tempted to do the van but have no clue.

Well I run 2 car lots with my Dad so I have any of those. But personally I have a 05 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Viper which company pays for. Just sold my S2000 that I was paying on. And me and my girl just got a 03 Explorer Eddie Bauer loaded up with DVD, 2 tone leather, 3rd seat, etc.

'97 F-150. 18 mpg in the city, 22 or better on the highway.
Wifes '06 Mustang, 25 mpg city, 32 on the highway.
'91 Suzuki Bandit 400 is my current summer commuter, 50 mpg everywhere. And way more fun than any machine has a right to be.
