Check out this cool video; a Studer running 2" tape, Schon with a fro, bell bottoms all-around and some really really good vocals & harmonies. The 70s produced some truly timeless music. You kids who werent there missed out on a cool era.

oh man that was good!

not so much on the hair or clothes. Liked the tin can budweiser.

And these jackass record labels wanna blame downloading for the current trend away from buying CDs.

Listen to that, then pick up most anything modern and it's pretty obvious why CDs aren't selling IMO. Especially when you look at the whole album from back then and find that you want to hear it all...not just one or two songs.

Great song and great album (think I still have that one on vinyl somewhere). Journey's my better half's favorite band. Genuine talent's a valuable comodity.

All of us (yes including me) have done things in the past that we not very proud of. Listening to girly shit like that is one of those things.

Chill out, I was just having a little fun. Been to many Journey concerts when I was a kid growing up in Southern CA. I haven’t seen or heard a Journey song is some time but in all honestly, Steve Perry’s voice caught me a little off guard. I didn’t remember it being so nasal and high.

You would hafta be a total musical ignoramus to not recognize the awesome talent in those 70s Journey songs.

I'd have gotten a lot more sleep if recording sessions really looked like that.
I realize it's a staged deal, but come on, seriously? Every one sitting around blissfully together, busting out a track all playing at the same time. That would be quite the accomplishment.

I'm confused. I though Randy Jackson from American Idol was the bass player for Journey. He mentions it every chance he gets. <img class= " title="Wink">

Randy was a studio musician that was hired to go on the road a few times - I dont think he ever did any studio work for them, Ive never seen him credited on any albums.
