I’m going to be doing a full restoration on this fresh barn find 79 Mugen 125. I will be doing a full nut and bolt restoration on this bike taking pictures and logging every step of the way and posting that here.

Correct and I'm sorry for that. When people you care about get murdered in a draconian manner then its easy to shoot your mouth off without thinking. But again, I'm not racist. From what I remember, I used to have to really jam my seat forward on my 09 yz to get it to line up with the subframe holes, rather annoying.

Bike is running well, the seat and the subframe really, really do not mesh well together and I cannot for the life of me figure out the reason. The tabs' center eye is about 1/4" in front of the subframe inserts, so I have to really, really muscle it in there to get it on. Still not sure if i'm going to keep the stock seat cover, but I know the ignition and clutch cover are getting replaced soon. The roached looked is killing me.
