I'm an ER doc at a major level 1 trauma center, saw 2 patients last shift. It's been the same for over a month. I'm literally twiddling my thumbs on shift.

C’mon pink bike quit watching the news and perpetuating the fear mongering. We are many weeks in and they keep playing the same video footage from the very beginning over and over and over I am in SoCal and work with half dozen guys who have wives as nurses all at different facilities (hospitals) that have had their hours cut or have been furloughed. FACT!

What stress? Most hospitals need patients right now. Maybe they will stop laying off their nurses then. This shit is getting ridiculous

Honestly, while I appreciate the vast majority of this community supporting my/the team's efforts, I would like to see the Walker negative comments cease. Not saying people shouldn't share opinions (that's what the forum is for), it's actually my personal opinion being shared by saying this and my own request to the community. At a time like this, with no racing and giant unknown ahead of us, it leaves a lot of time to ponder and a lot of time to let negativity soak in...something I don't want for anyone involved. I guess take my comment for what it's worth...

We will be back to regular business soon. Original models are or were way off, treatments are being fast tracked, vaccines are now going into phase 2 and we have a president that wants to get back to work. I say within a month we are back at work and restrictions are at ease. It’s going to be crazy to see which way the sport goes when it’s back open, not jus the sport but the world.. I feel like it’s going to be kind of a free for all. Lots of craziness.

This "virus" pales in comparison to the Ebola outbreak of a couple years ago. Respect the issue at hand, be smart, wash your hands, but don't fear it. The fear mongering is over the top.
