My 2026 project is going to be turning this 04 Kx125 into a James Stewart tribute bike.(not a replica) It will be raced at a few of the 2 stroke races here in 2026. Were gonna go all out on this bike, Ill be building it a bit more modern vs era specific. I have parts starting to show up will be posting up soon. Ill be filming some videos along the way, as well as documenting it here on Vital. Hope you guys enjoy and let me know what you think! Also any input is welcome.

Picked up this bike essentially for free as part of a package deal for a KTM450. Previous owner purchased the plastics, wheels, graphics and most of the other new items seen so although I would have preferred to restore it all back to the showroom look I used all the new stuff and tried to chose Cerakote colors that followed the theme. Obviously, every bearing, seal, top end, both sprockets, levers, grips, cables, seat cover etc. etc. was replaced with new items. Suspension items were Cerakoted and rebuilt with all new bushings, seals, bumpers and fluids. Linkage was polished and...

And the bike is finished. Wish he was little taller so I could have ran the original seat foam. Feel like it looks better. Happy with how this turned out, fun project.

Unfortunately it has not been out or ridden due to hand surgeries (yet!). It’s been displayed untouched since the last day of build back in 2017!

So guys….it finally happened! I went to Ironman MXoN Friday evening and was able to get in line for a autograph. Didn’t get a chance to show Eli any pictures of the bike since they had us run through the line pretty quick so he could get downtown for the parade. I was with Alpinestars working with the medical staff so I was able to buzz around the pits early morning and after the races. Plus had awesome front row seats to the track all weekend! I've dropped the shock off. Hopefully pick that up today and I can put the back end together. New bar pad, grips, graphics on the plates. I bought a full plastic kit but like the stock shrouds with in mold graphics. They hold up better.

Hey All, Well, this weekend I started what I hope to be a quick project of refreshing my old race bike. My 07' CR250 has been shelved for quite a while since getting a 450 years ago. Haven't had much time to ride this summer, so I figured I would at least wrench on a bike that deserves some love. So what are we starting with? Well the bike itself is not in rough shape. First break in ride was Friday at Pala! I had both the 350 and 150 there, breaking in new suspension on the 350 as well as the breaking in the 150. There was a big mini-bike race Saturday and they split practices up, which wasn't ideal for testing, but we made the most of it. I'm definitely going to make some changes and get it back on track for more testing and tuning before we call this done. Most notably the bars need a lower bend with less sweep. Thanks to Phil Cox at Plastic Renovation. The tank turned out like all his work top shelf craftsmanship. I found all but the radiator shroud and decal and right sideplate decal nos oem scored the rest. New over time. But those 2 pieces I cant locate So used the old stuff . Seat is orginal. Yellow excell rims on Dunlop 🤫Don't Rush⌛
