Hi guys, i'm looking for some help with this bike, every review says that the new rmz sucks and it's very behind from the rest in terms of speed (also suspension) Still it is very affordable, and finally it seems that I have the chance with one of these, but I don't want to fall behind the field so much...

Unless you are riding deep sand the bike is fine. I have a 2019 RMZ250 I just got a few months ago. It does seem to run out on the top end a bit quicker than other 250f’s I’ve ridden. But for what it lacks there it makes up for it with cornering and bottom end torque. If you are pretty light it will be more than enough. Just shift! 😆

Find 4.1 with a arc clutch and vp 4.1 fuel. If you really want to go for it remapped or get a vortex. Done.

Unless you're racing A class shit your suzuki is ok. I'd recommend you to don't buy a zook, spend 6k and after 1/2k to get it working properly is not very smart. You better buy a kawi/yami/ktm, spend 7/8k and be ready to race.

Sell it and buy a stock Yamaha rather than spend a thousand in the hope that it catches up 🤷‍♂️

Long story short, I have this chance of a bargain where I can have a little money left to invest on the bike, for other japanese bike I would need to save more to buy. Also you are right, i'm not close to an A class pilot... Still if there are minor things that could make this bike more updated...
