I just finished watching the MXoN Qualifying Races and holy cow what a difference between this broadcast and the pathetic sh@tshow the US SMX broadcasts have become. Some notes: The MXoN broadcast seems to use the necessary 7 or 8 cameras on the ground that actually follow the race fully around the track. Beautiful FULL SCREEN coverage of the riders, properly framed, railing turns, hitting jumps, working the ruts, showing body positioning, suspension action, etc., and most importantly, showing the RACING!! They (thankfully) have very minimal use of their split-screen, and almost zero useless Inserts of a guy in the...

HRC US is funded by Honda US's marketing budget, they have to pay HRC Japan for parts, HRC Europe gets some funding from HRC Japan, Konsky's team is Honda Australia's official team, they could access HRC parts, but he would have to pay for them, the cost wouldn't be justifiable.

10/7/2024 3:15pm Konskys effort is nothing like HRC US. He organises all the team sponsors and uses different pipes, suspension, etc It’s more of a private effort really and Yarrive is smashing it winning every title in Aus.

Ya, I know how you feel...I not a Aussie but I was pulling for you guys there. Those last few laps with Jett and Tim going at it....I was like fuuuck Jett, you don't need to win this...the anxiety was through the ceiling.

Just show’s what a class act Lars and the HRC team is. Cool memory for Webster being a factory HRC rider for a weekend while winning the MXdN, it’s hard to top that for a regular non-factory rider.

I hope Webster takes in the moment and enjoys every minute of it, because this might end up being the highlight of his career. But I hope he gets the chance to improve upon it. Seems like a good kid.

Worked out for Australia. First ever win. Doubt very much they get it if Hunter had to race back to back motos. So pumped to grab a win. I thought it was unreachable for us.

Webster is no slouch at SX, but outdoors is where he shines Damn shame there’s not more opportunities for motocross specialists, especially given how much of a meat grinder the SX season is. And age shouldn’t matter either, you’re either good enough or you’re not.
