Update: it was the rectifier AND the kill switch. (Yes I unplugged the kill switch before I swapped anything). Once I replaced the rectifier I was able to get into the CCU but still no fuel prime. Then I unplugged the kill switch/map button and she lit right up.

Borrowed a known good ECU and still same symptoms. Starter relay tested good. I did notice that my fuel pump turns on for just a split second when I hit the starter. I've read that a bad rectifier can cause all my issues. I have a cheap multimeter and I tried the diode testing function but I'm not getting any...

Yep. No spark. No fuel. No CCU. Only thing that works is the starter (fully charged battery also) I’ve stripped the whole wiring harness looking for corrosion or breaks. It’s super clean. I’m not the best electrical guru but I’m still perusing the service manual doing all the multimeter checks, but I may be testing incorrectly.

I’m an American residing in Europe and all the tracks pretty much banned tear off littering. It’s a pretty simple solution as I hate roll-offs. Annoying at first hearing em flap around but you get used to it.

So jealous. I'm stationed in Germany and make my way to Spain once a year during the winter to ride. With 3 bikes a Sprinter/Crafter is the move. I have a Mercedes Viano (slightly fancy Vito) and 2 full size bikes is pretty tight.

Ottobiano and Dorno are awesome and rent bikes/gear out (I think mainly Hondas). I was just there a couple weeks ago. Long drive from Rome though. I would try and convince the wife to make a trip to Milan and go see those two tracks. They're open most days too.

Rebuilding my 04 CR250R and would love to find a clean stock expansion chamber.. doesn't have to be new/unused but would like one I don't have to yank dents out of. Interested in other parts also (stator, RC valve motor, airbox) I want to future proof it for a couple more years until I eventually make it a living room...

4 stroke rev limiters, 2 strokes WFO, the smell of premix and race fuel, feeling the ground shake right before the drop of a full gate of 450s. For me, I wish electric to be domestic. Use it for cars, residential lawn care, etc. Leave racing with fuel and oil, sounds and smells. Its all part of the whole experience that makes motocross so great.

Yes the air filter is the same as the 2021 CRF 450 and the oil filter as been the same for the 150R/250R-RX-X/450R-X-RX-L/TRX since 2003. It is still the same as all those bike.

Can’t get a straight answer from dealers and the parts fiche doesn’t have the new 250R diagrams. Can I order a 450 air filter for the ‘22 250? Is the oil filter a carryover from 21 or is it the same as the 450 now? Sorry if it’s common knowledge but my googlefu hasn’t turned up anything.

That’s the market…I paid $4500 for an 04 time capsule with a whole slew of OEM replacement parts and I felt like throwing up when I handed the money over. These gen CRs are getting hard to find in good condition though since the metal mulisha fanboys ruined most of them about 10yrs ago.

You guys are legit retards if you don’t believe that muscle mass protects the body from injury. There is an abundance of scientific literature on this. Protects, not totally prevents (I know I need to make that comment because you tards will say “well explain how so and so that has big muscles has been hurt” lmao) That said, having more muscle mass may not make you a better rider. Motocross is a game of risk. Being bulkier would for sure assist in injury prevention, but it also may cause the rider to be less balanced and have less endurance.
