KTM diversified with other brands, Husqvarna and GasGas, utilizing existing assembly lines, suppliers and sales networks, it worked and increased total unit sales and total revenue, but they went too far going outside their core business with MV Agusta, and bicycles. They should go back to their core competences, divest the other products, and cut costs manufacturing their core products.

You have to wonder what direction KTM will go with different people in charge. Different money sometimes want different things. Hopefully it’s just a smaller racing presence and not vastly different.

No matter how much you think otherwise, a proper start straight down the middle of the stadium is the first thing every SX track needs. Chase Sexton proved that he is every bit as good as the best Eli Tomac has , with a come from behind ride that just came up a lap short . Made Jett's ride at A1 look as lacklustre as it was. Another solid qualifying, and a good heat race, promised at least a podium, but a crap start and a few moments of panic on the opening lap, did him no favors. I wont...

Me neither, mines an 05 EXC. Always on the hunt for a 2013-2015 125/150 chassis to swap it into. The 200 is the most fun motor I’ve ever rode. Lug it like a 300 or let it wind up like a 125 it’ll go just as fast either way. Bought it a few years ago for $1000 after sitting on someone’s pool deck for 5 years prior to that. Was riding it the next weekend and was taking it a hare scramble two weekends later.

1/15/2025 4:06pm The Lawrences seem to be more adept at bike setup than most, including most definitely Chase. That said the bike needs work. One of the commentators said the bike would likely get worse as the track went away and he was spot on. But they'll get this figured out.
