6/14/2020 6:04pm I am starting a build on my 1998 KX250. I have been racing this bike for 2 years and now its time for a complete restoration. Still trying to decide what direction to go with it. There will be more coming very soon.

If I were going early 1990's, I would go with '92 RM 250 followed closely by the '92 YZ. Both of those were the last year of their respective design and pretty well sorted. If I were going late 1990's, I would go '97-'98 KX 250. Those bikes were really good.

My opinion would be the Kx250 with the YZ250 close behind. I had a 96 YZ and a 97 Kx.
