1/15/2013 7:21am @BAMX We had to send out over 30 cranks last year for rebuilding and replaced atleast 50... 30 cranks X $50/ea to rebuild equals $1500. Thats not even considering the rebuilding business we would have from rebuilding a crank we would normally replace. So in one year this tool would pay for itself.
I could do them without a jig...

1/14/2013 9:38am K+L has stopped producing new ones, and none of my distributors have any left in stock. So I would have to get lucky and find a new one still at a distributor, or a used one from a shop out of business.

1/27/2012 4:41pm I know the site is down and they lquidated their assets...but why? They grew so fast and their numbers were reaching close to 10 million in annual sales. Does anyone know the nitty gritty of what went down?

12/29/2011 8:07pm +1 on the SC1, I also use simple green but sometimes like to go above and beyond with the motorex bike wash...it leaves a protective shine and washes away brown dirt stains without scrubbing.

12/29/2011 8:05pm If you are on intermediate dirt mostly, run either the Dunlop MX51's or the bridgestone 403/404 combo. Your local dealer will be glad to get you them, and they will probably have them in a day and match or beat online pricing if you talk to them!

12/29/2011 8:04pm If there is no up and down play and the rod side to side clearance is under 28 thou, dont worry about it. The blue is from the crank assembler heating the flywheels to ease the installation of the crank pin. I have gotten many many brand new crank shafts with blueing like that.

12/29/2011 7:47pm Im assuming the seller means to say that it has a stroker crankshaft and is no longer a 125. MXtech1 your info is a bit off as far as calculating CC's and what a stroker is, as it looks like mx5471 has explained already the correct meaning of a stroker and how to calculate CC's.

12/29/2011 6:16am Thats unfortunate to hear that you guys aren't satisfied by your local dealers. Most parts departments will do racer discounts if you explain to them your situation (10-15% puts you at about average online pricing).
If you arent receiving your common aftermarket parts that come from parts unlimited or tucker rocky next day from your shop, you need to find...
