Agreed. There are a lot of things he’s earned some criticism for but dude doesn’t seem to be interested in mailing it in and cashing a pay check. I think if anything all the drama surrounding him comes from trying too hard.

100 bucks is steep but what isn’t anymore. Most of the reasons I don’t attend nats or sx anymore is due to people being selfish Aholes (see the ez up comments above) belligerently drunk, or a combination of both. Then when I’ve hit my max and I’m ready to leave I get to sit in traffic for 2 hrs with the same people I just wanted to throat punch just now they’re behind the wheel acting the same.

Am I the only one that thinks the ghost riding thing is not that big of a deal? I mean over the years we’ve seen, or heard of, many riders doing things like this when losing their temper. Kicking bikes over, breaking shit,…..there’s any number of similar examples. Is it an incident that the team needs to address? Of course. Is it worthy of ten pages of outrage? That seems a little over dramatic to me.

Dude on reflection this crash out might have just made me a fan. A factory bike being ghost ridden into the pits of the team who pay you millions is actually some shit Deegan could only dream of.

One of the main reasons I continue to follow the sport is because of all the content independent media puts out. I will be less likely to follow sx if this plays out like ML is making it sound.
