1/31/2024 6:18am I have a new billet front caliper that will greatly improve stopping (and it's not grabby, very progressive). If interested, email me at: VitalMx123@outlook.com Sweet project there!

12/26/2023 5:13am That rear end definitely looks slimmer and lighter than the production bike. I’d guess it was all 1997’ Airbox + seat ?

12/26/2023 5:05am Awesome! I remember going to a 500GP in Mantova in 1999, when big bore 4 strokes were just starting to mingle with the 2 strokes. I vividly remember my excitement as these big machines were making the ground shake every time they landed jumps. Bartolini finished up there, either first or second if I recall correctly.

12/25/2023 6:02pm Beautiful build mate. Not sure if it'll feast on a 500 or with Ricky on the 250. But stellar job. Looks like what it would look like if Yamaha made it today.

2/17/2024 4:42pm The 400 and 426 have very different engines. This bike was a purchased parts project. There’s a big list of upgrades above. The 99’ 400f frame/chassis is period correct as in shocks/swingarm+ linkage . The engine is an 02’ 426 running WR gears with the original style lightened flywheel and all trick titanium bits I could find ! https://global.yamaha-motor.com/showroom/cp/collection/racing_yz426f/

1/13/2024 6:25am The thing is an absolute animal of a machine standard , and this is a fast one.. watch it against the infamous KX👇🏼 https://youtu.be/D8zP1Wjk9OY?si=CqP0UQJ4nvxSZ0QN They named RC the Goat for a good reason , ask Stefan Everts . This one was close https://youtu.be/DWfFpXQvXpA?si=6noISwocnGTcIIiv and yes, it could be on the market for a similar price as a new one .

12/3/2023 5:26pm As title, currently building a 2005 Stefan Everts YZ450F Factory Rinaldi replica build for someone, so thought I'd keep updates here for those who are interested in something a little different to the typical 2 stroke restorations. I'm also on the hunt for a few parts including the carbon Acerbis front Spider disc guard if anyone has a new/used one? Super low hour 2004 machine is the base bike. Although lots end up being replaced, it's cool nice to not have to replace lots of worn out parts with new OEM stuff, and I can restore and keep most parts...
