Sounds exactly like the MX Buddy app. Being able to see lap times and individual section times definitely makes riding a whole lot more fun. I think MX buddy is only for Apple devices. A similar app for Android would be awesome. Good luck.

The file type doesn't matter too much as it will just need to be parsed differently for each file type so I can process the data. The reason I support the XGPS160 for now is that they have a publicly available API that makes it much easier to connect and transfer data between the app and the device. Each smart...

Right now only the XGPS160 device is supported as an external GPS but I am looking into support for different types of smart watches post release.

Kinda. This whole project started around two years ago when I bet a friend of mine that I could make something similar for android and it just grew from there. The lap time aspect was supposed to be the only aspect of the app but then ideas came to me that I would find useful when riding so I implemented...

Hey everyone, I have been developing an android app throughout my time in college, and it's getting close to a releasable state. I figured I'd post here to see if anyone would like to help me beta test the app before I release it on the google play store. Here's a little bit about the app: MotoLogger is a GPS...

This is a good example of how a market based system doesn't work well in the case of healthcare.. it worked for a while in the US until the for profit companies started to get really greedy. When your child is very sick or your leg bone is sticking out of your skin, it is difficult to have a fair negotiation between buyer and supplier as with other services in a market based system. At the same time, the current administration is reducing consumer protection and the public needs protection from greedy insurance companies and healthcare providers. I am a...

From what I understood, they were saying that trace amounts of these banned supplements shouldn't warrant the suspensions they do. And also, for how short of a career the average rider has, these sentences they've been throwing at guys like 2 years is asanine. Their suspensions should be at most about 4 races. One year is like 5 in MX years. Along with all of the other criticisms that people have of the FIM (lag time with sentencing) I think at the end, Ping sort of went nuclear with the comment about how everyone should be allowed to take anything...

I have a 2008 crf250r and have been having issues with the carburetor. The bike starts up fine and idles with no issues but whenever I open the throttle quickly the bike bogs and then shuts off. Also whenever I pull the choke when the bike is running or if I pull the hot start, the bike begins to idle...

After a bit of reading I did I realized that when I pulled the carburetor from the engine I was supposed to disconnect the tps plug instead of removing the tps directly from the carburetor which is what i did. So, I disconnected the tps plug and then kicked over the bike and it started up very easily. So now...

I set the fuel screw 1 turn out as that was what the service manual advised. When i checked the spark it was blue. As for the parts I replaced, it was just a few o-rings, the float valve needle, the fuel screw, and the needle. I made sure to place the clip on the needle in the same position...

I was careful when I removed the float so I dont think I bent it. I unscrewed the drain bolt on the float and gas did come out so I tried to start but still had no luck. I also didnt notice any smoke coming from the exhaust.

I went riding a few weeks back and noticed that gas was leaking from the fuel inlet on the carburetor so I ordered a carburetor rebuild kit and rebuilt it. However, since I have put the carburetor back in the bike, it will not start. I have checked to see if fuel was reaching the carburetor and it is. I...
