I have a 2008 crf250r and have been having issues with the carburetor. The bike starts up fine and idles with no issues but whenever I open the throttle quickly the bike bogs and then shuts off. Also whenever I pull the choke when the bike is running or if I pull the hot start, the bike begins to idle pretty rough and almost wants to shut off. I have tried adjusting the fuel screw and I found that I can turn it all the way in and the bike will still run. Even if I have the fuel screw turned all the way in and I open the throttle quickly the bike still shuts off. I have replaced the 188 main jet with a 185 main jet but I still have the same issues.

FYI... The choke makes it richer. The Hot Start makes it leaner.
Check float height.
Fuel screw should be about 2 turns out from seated.
A bad oring on the fuel screw will cause issues.
Fuel accelerator pump timing could be an issue just like a bad accelerator pump will.

JD jet kits are your friend with those bikes. Make sure all o rings are in good shape and the accelerator pump is operating properly. Also, the mid body o rings tend to go bad in those carbs causing lean conditions.
