Hey everyone, I have been developing an android app throughout my time in college, and it's getting close to a releasable state. I figured I'd post here to see if anyone would like to help me beta test the app before I release it on the google play store. Here's a little bit about the app:
MotoLogger is a GPS lap time logger that can also be used to track bike maintenance and setups. The lap timer feature uses your mobile device's GPS to record your lap times around custom user-defined tracks. All lap times (including optimal laps) recorded with the app can be viewed on a map to see the lines taken on the track. Individual laps can be visually compared with other laps of the same recorded session to see where you lose and gain time on the track. MotoLogger supports the Dual XGPS160 device as well so you can record sessions with it and upload them to the app via Bluetooth. MotoLogger allows you to track statistics on your bike such as laps, distance, and time logged based on each recorded session. The app can also track setup details such as suspension clicker settings and tire pressures. Each saved setup can track your sessions so you can view sessions that have been recorded under a specific setup.
There are a few other minor features I didn't mention here but if you are interested you can check out the app landing page: https://www.motologger.app
If you are interested in helping me test the app out, you must have an android device running Android 8 (Oreo) or greater.
Send me an email at support@motologger.app if you would like to participate. Please include the type of android device you have, the version of Android it is running (if you know it), and the email you use for you google play store account so I can add you in as a beta tester.
