Owned a 2008 rmz 450 Changed from stock to aftermarket after 12 hours or so. Changed the bolts also with one of those
bolt kits. They come with red loctite applied. Loosened up , watched them for a while and they seemed ok. Lost a couple...

back in the late seventies and these bikes are my sons. Been at it for ten years with him and I'm baffled. Never happened
with any other bike, had about 20 for him even the Suzuki Rm and the RMZ's...

10/30/2010 4:51pm My son just picked up the same bike. Loves it. Claims it pulls as strong as his rmz 450 down low out of corners, actually wheelies out but then does flatten out in mid range. We were told by numerous riders and mechanics to split 50/50 race fuel and pump gas. Stories of detonation problems and seizing with regular fuel...
