Inglorious Bastards was awesome! If you didn't appreciate that film, sell you TV and live in a closet.

million dollar baby was a good movie

Batman Begins was a good movie

shawshank redemption was a good movie
And you win the dipshit of the day award. That was the point of the movie. If you don't understand that, it was over your head.

yeah, that must have been it,

it was "over my head".

Maybe my drugs just are not as good as whatever you are taking.

It was a freaking cartoon.

and that is no more of an overstatement then

"If you didn't appreciate that film, sell you TV and live in a closet. "

Now then, speaking of Rourke,

The wrestler was a "good" movie

Recent stuff that's been released: "127 Hours" and "Fair Game" were quality.

Upcoming films: The Coen Brothers remake of "True Grit" looks interesting, "The Fighter" looks like it might be alright, "Black Swan" should be good.

"Green Lantern" looks like trash.

The Bothersome man.

Best movie I've watched in years. It's in Norwegian with subtitles! - probably get hammered for that.

You mentioned "remake" which made me bristle. That's so typical Hollywood.

When they can't be resourceful , artistic and unique - they panic and think of

previous flicks, cartoons, song titles or whatever - and attempt to fabricate something

"new" on the silver screen - that seldom works and just displays their inability to

be fresh and authentic. " Rocky VII in 3D Vs. Jaws"

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I hear the next one is going to feature Predator and Alien as well. They are making them simultaneously in case Stallone dies.

Remakes, sequels and "re-imaginings"are standard fare nowadays. Along with an excess of comic book adaptations (for now) they are what you'll have to wade through for the next decade or longer.

There's a built in audience for stupid, noisy garbage franchise films.

Well acted indeed by Daniel Day Lewis. Must watch for his performance alone. Weird ending though...I liked the movie on the whole, but the wife fell asleep.

Saw The Damned United last night. Good movie, but again the wife fell asleep.
