Your are almost spot on with the gear ratio Smile one reduction stage (two gears) four bearings (two on rotor and two on counter shaft)

Before the media event and at a different track a young guy broke the track record by 3 seconds on a Varg (lap time just under 2 minutes). He normally rides 125 2T. It would be interesting to do a real analysis but my guess is that guys who are used 2T adapt to the Varg very quickly. They are...

Quite a few riders who tested the Varg tried the hand brake. They stated that long term the hand brake is the better choice because it leaves both feet free and also provides more precise control of the rear brake. In a panic situation it takes away rear wheel torque just like a clutch. In the case of a foot...

And what‘s your solution? To do nothing and just bitch about „those“ people?

So sound has not really been removed, just greatly reduced. Everyone says if the ice sound is gone it's less entertaining. Esports (video games) fill up huge arenas to watch video monitors. So I think it's just a transition. We just have to accept the change. I'll bet you a doughnut that the new kids starting out on e bikes have just as much fun as my son when he started on his pw50. TM

All of you criticizing electric bike charging when its not being green or with generators are idiots. This is not an attempt to be green nor is it a political issue so stop with that bs. You old heads can still practice once or twice a week after driving an hour. I will ride everyday after work close by and ill wax you when i show up to race on my dumb electric bike. Electric bikes will not kill the sport. Loud bikes kill tracks.. Electric bikes make the sport more accessible than its ever been.

We had a stoppage for a few days to find and fix the problems. Fortunately we were able to find the problems -- all easily fixable once we knew what they were. If we had some fundamental problem the event would not have been restarted.

The "dash app" was not on the test bikes. The were running an "engineering display". The display did show battery level, but simply as SoC=nnn I don't know how many riders knew this or paid attention to how much SoC (state of charge) dropped per lap. I know some did and extrapolated expected ride time from this.

The dock merely charges the phone (wireless charging). You can place the phone somewhere else (somewhere on your body) or you can ride without the phone.

The only difference is in software. The 80hp and 60hp set to 45hp will both act exactly the same. I am in the electronics team, not the sales team so I am not 100% sure but I think you can make the final 60/80 decision the moment you purchase the bike (not when you reserve it). Best to ask Stark...

Still 6kWh So using 8.9kWh that makes it equal to 0.674L of gasoline. If we say the Varg has 2.5L equivalent with average efficiency of 0.8, then ICE efficiency average is 0.216 -- I think that is overly optimistic for ICE dirt bike.

I won't say exactly what cells we are using but they aren't 5Ah. While a battery with 5Ah cells would look great on paper, it wouldn't be very good in real life -- the cells would have too much internal resistance to deliver the required power and a significant portion of the energy would go into heat instead of power...
You are correct, the torque dictates how fast the font wheel "lifts". However, once you hit top speed the rear can no longer accelerate and the front will stop lifting. So torque controls how fast it lifts, and the difference in RPM how much you can lift the front. In both cases electric gives you more. There is about 80Nm...
With an electric bike the throttle/brake can have a significantly greater impact on the bikes position in the air than with ICE. The main reason is that the rear wheel can hit max speed without the rider shifting through the gears. In raw form it is actually difficult to control and you need software to tame it a little bit...
