I just bought an ex-JGR factory 2012 yz450f and it has these black/blue ti nitride showa forks on it that I have never seen before.. they have these huge billet lugs on it and MASSIVE 51mm lower tubes!!! I'm just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on these, since I never even knew they existed!! And sorry for the crappy...

I've been slowing down on this project recently, but I will update you guys whenever there is anything going on! Also I will message you to see about those coatings, but the lowers on this bike look perfect. I do have some other stuff that I would like to get done so I'll contact you to talk more on that...

Yeah the AER forks are usually about 10-12mm longer than the 4CS!! Its kind of interesting that they would have such drastically different fork lengths, but not change the chassis to supplement... It makes you wonder if the chassis was originally developed to accept the shorter fork, and realized that they needed the extra length to work out some bugs...
Basically all Moose products are made by someone else, but they team up with them to make their normal products with the Moose name on them. For example: Moose pistons and rods by Cp Carrillo, Moose valve train by Kibblewhite, Moose shifters and brake pedals by Hammerhead, Moose carbon fiber pieces by Eline, Moose enduro armor by Enduro Engineering, etc...

Well if you're gonna throw the Bridgestone stickers and/or tire letters into it, I think he should start with some Bridgestone tires! If you look at his Instagram post (first post/ photo in the thread) you can see that those are undoubtedly Dunlop MX3S tires on his bike haha! Come on Chad, you knew someone was gonna catch you on...
I think what you meant was the HPSD, steering damper. He was talking about the X-Trig PHDS bar mounts. Common mistake since they're the same letters in a different order haha! They do mean very different things though, Honda Progressive Steering Damper vs. Progressive Handlebar Damping System.

Yes the exhaust systems do interchange to my knowledge between the 06-09 version and the 10-13 version of the bike. I have a 2012 and I have put my full FMF exhaust on my friends 2007 and fit with no problems and used all of the existing mounting hardware. A good way to get a more updated exhaust on your...
Too much! Haha you always have to pay a little more for stuff that is so rare, not to mention the hunt to find it! I am not sure that I want to put a number on all this good stuff, but I am really starting to understand how expensive these things were for JGR to build in the first...
Well here it is!! I was able to track down 2 sets of seals and bushings for these babies!! And as you have probably skipped ahead and looked at the picture already, I also managed to get my upper fork tubes recoated and damn do they look good!!! I can't wait to get this stuff on the bike, and don't...
