How? Think of him as an ambassador. A taste of Supercross in a country that would otherwise never see it. I think it’s damn cool they have the funding to send Kenny. I sure as shit would love to see him in the part of the world I live. Even for the money, he doesn’t need to go. Kenny has stepped up to the plate all year. Was just watching a replay of MXoN and realised any time Kenny gets out front the commentators (in particularly JT) bang on about his "fast twitch" muscles. I hate to start a thread over this and no I'm not trying to farm downvotes (and they will come), but when he says this I always face palm...and enough for the very rare occasion I actually start a thread. No JT, fast twitch muscles (if Kenny actually has an abundance of these), have nothing to do with Ken's early moto speed. An abundance of either type is genetic and fast twitch abundance...

I've ridden tons of the 19-22 gen KTM bikes and currently have 3 of them. I have literally never felt one bit of headshake on any of them, even riding peoples bikes that are setup for a rider 50 lbs heavier and 70 lbs lighter than me. Seems you'd have to be pretty far off on setup to make these bikes get headshake.

He would have been one of the best ever in MXGP, for sure. It's hard to talk about the number of titles, but he never had any big injuries or crashes in motocross, they all happened during SX. Him and Herlings were also on the same level when he went to the US (Kenny was probably a little more consistent). Not to discredit Herlings or Gajser here, but I think they wouldn't have half of their titles if Kenny stayed in the MXGP. But woulda coulda shoulda, it didn't happen like that.. His dream and goal was always to race...

As an American, same! But I wonder if this is the Kenny we would be seeing right now if he had to hammer out 22 motos after SX. I think he’s found a good balance with his body/health and racing.

I think this event showed there’s a lot of parity between the MXGP and AMA series at the top end. If only we could see the best of AMA and MXGP race together a few times a year at least.
