FGR01 Added a reply to Tips to remove Shock Resevoir (Bladder Kit)
7/5/2026 8:08pm Since the upper body is already damaged, can you clamp on this area in the vice to minimize the twisting when you are cranking on it? Other than that, make sure the reservoir is as clean and oil free as possible. I would use 2 strap wrenches. Get bigger ones. Make sure the rubber inside the straps is as clean...

7/4/2026 9:19am My 2018 250sx with jetting and a PC pipe/silencer made almost 52hp on the dyno. KTM changed something in 2020 and those engines made a little more power, but I think it was only 1 or 2 more.

7/3/2026 2:54pm I made this out of a scrap piece of aluminum. Adjustable with the bolt. Does everyone agree that this is a good method to measure?

7/3/2026 12:47pm it is the first ever hybrid steel/aluminum frame. Targeted flex, best of both worlds. They outdid KTM and Yamaha on the first try.

7/2/2026 3:28pm You may very well be on to something. That is a crazy list of responsibilities for that salary for someone that is already a professional level translator. And we're talking Japanese here, not Spanish. Japanese is a level 5 language and very few non-native speakers ever achieve a level of proficiency to be translating for the President of Kawasaki.

7/2/2026 3:20pm Interesting and makes me wonder if they have someone from overseas they want to bring in to fill that post. I have some experience with these kind of “work skill” visas and generally what happens is they tailor the job requirements so specifically that virtually no US citizens/permanent residents apply and of those that do apply the company can easily give reasons why those applicants don’t qualify for the position, then the overseas person they want to bring in is able to acquire the skilled visa - because the company can show they’re the only person qualified to fill that...

7/1/2026 5:23pm Yeah, that is a pretty extensive list of rather disparate functions for 1 person to perform for that salary. Seems to be their MO. Lump the work of 3 or 4 people together for the price of one. Look at this one. Be the executive assistant to the President and do the work of an an entire support staff. All...

6/30/2026 8:46pm On my 25 FC350 I took the shock off and cycled the swingarm through the stroke to test chain slack. Anything less than 69mm binds. Anything more than 70mm gets noisy when riding. So I keep it 69-70mm.

6/30/2026 4:45pm When I had my 22 350 and talked to Powerband about the suspension because I sent my cone valves to him for a refresh and maybe a revalve. I told him I hated the AER forks on the 350 because of no front feel or traction, but when I put them on my 250sx they were just as good if not better than the cone valves and he told me that for some reason KTM has different valving for the 350 than the rest of the SXF line. Now I'm not sure about the 24+ stuff, but maybe they did...

6/30/2026 5:24am Well he is 5y old, SX is way too big for him, also don't want to scare him with the speed yet. It's not like he is jumping big, but even those small jumps sound harsh. I guess he'll be moving up next year, hopefully before the PW is fully destroyed.

6/29/2026 8:08pm Update: So got the pro circuit platinum pipe on with the r304 shorty I had from earlier. Took a few kicks tk start (probably needs air screw adjusted) and fired up. Warmed the bike up and took it for a few pulls. I definitely did notice some more topend pulling, before when the bike would overev it would sort of push you forward a bit as the power fell off quick. Now I dont feel that as much and it just feels better up top. Running the exact same jetting as stock, 510 main, clip 2 42-74 needle, 32.5 pilot...
