Scroll through the pages of Vital and count the photos and videos that would fall under Feld's new restrictions, then use Feld's rate card to add up the credential and usage costs. It's an unworkable model.

Very curious to see how this shapes the media landscape. I feel for the friends I've made in the industry who rely on going to the races week in and week out to make a living. Some of these companies simply wont have enough budget to pay these guys. Heck, they hardly have any budget now. At a minimum you're looking at an additional $8-10k per client if they want coverage for every round (I don't have the doc or have read more than what was posted above, so this is my assumption). I can't see many companies paying that...

I'm not typically keen on the boycott scene, but I'm seriously considering dropping my Peacock subscription and skipping any live Feld events moving forward. I guess it's back to YouTube highlights...not interested in feeding the Feld machine. I'll stick to offroad and outdoor mx...

Well, that's some serious Mount Rushmore photo talent that will, unfortunately, be shooting weddings on Saturdays next season. I have to believe this new arrangement has been discussed in detail and worked out over the last year or two. Shooting is just part of the operation--It will also require an experienced staff to download, rename and add metadata and copyright info to all images as well as retouching, and uploading to multiple servers as quickly as possible. Someone with experience had to walk Feld through this well ahead of time and advise them on how to do it. I'm guessing...

The fact is that at some point, the teams and manufacturers get together and form their own series, and cut out Feld. It takes a lot to put on these races, and Feld has that working. But people reach a breaking point, and disallowing team managers to speak freely about problems, banning or suspending rights to manage their teams, then not allowing mostly ex-riders to continue making a living in the sport, is going to push Feld out. I'm not getting religious here (I'm a Christian though), but there's a valid guiding principle about this in the bible that makes...

Man, I remember in 2022 going to A2 supercross, stands were mildly full, buddy and I bought upper deck tickets and roamed wherever we wanted. Couple years later, sold out completely. It's only a matter of time before Feld figures out what NASCAR has had to do to "fill" the stands. Reduce the size of the venues and then paint the seats so it looks like someone is sitting in them🤣. I’ve seen it and it’s getting around. I’m close friends with close to a dozen media guys, everyone is scratching their head. I’m not going to post the document because I don’t want anyone in specific to get in trouble before the meeting where it will likely be quickly spread from that point.
