Yes it will hold up very well if done correctly. You will have to take rim and spokes fully apart. And have a good company do the coating. Its better if media blasted before coating and not just scuffed with a pad. Coating is just like paint, it all in the prep.

maybe MA800 needs to sit down with Weimer and Brock and get some lessons on how to speak on camera..
