I would say that the easiest bike to ride would be a 250f. Enough power to get the job done but not so much that it can easily get you in trouble. Just make sure you get one that's been taken care of. Better to spend a little more up front than a lot down the road.

If all those rumors are true, how come back when they were on 2 strokes they always talked about having to do testing to meet the european requirements and setting their bikes up differently? I'm pretty sure they have to go through tech like everyone else.

I think the 4 strokes are easier to ride if you are a beginner or novice. Once you get up to the intermediate and pro level the difference is not as big since they're in the meat of the power at all times and the abruptness of the powerband goes away. It does take a bit more skill to ride...

It takes a couple of rides to get used to it again. I have a RMZ 450 and have ridden 4 strokes since 04, but I picked up a KX250 in march and an RM125 last month. I've only hopped on my 4 stroke twice since buying those bikes. I love riding the 250, but it's probably the hardest one...

Love my Sidis. Rode with A-stars for a few years then switched to Sidis about 6 years ago. They last much longer and I find them more comfortable as well.

I think the reason Belgium has so many good riders is because they have a great club level system. They basically run their races from about March through September, one series, on pretty much different tracks every week. They will stake out tracks in pastures, visit permanent sites, but rarely use the same tracks twice. They don't have 40 different...
