cslacker Added a reply to Go look at your tires... Am I crazy?

The x30 is heavier but the mx32 is a very narrow tire for it's claimed size. The 120/80/19 for the mx32 is the same actual size as the 110/90/19 X30. If they compared those 2 the difference might not be so much.

Are you changing the ride day from motoland to acp? It's closer to the Glendale stadium and I'm sure Bev could hook you up. Couple of buddies and I might be in if you're up for some new people.

What other function do you think the air serving in these new forks? All the air chambers do is replace coil springs in these "new" forks also... same as the old Yamaha you used to have.

True. But they do have to go through the process with them as well. Yamaha just doesn't care to. I have a hard time believing they didn't import 400 yz250s to qualify but I don't have proof of that either.

The manufacturer has to submit parts and pay a fee to have them homologated. Yamaha has not done this since 2010. I do believe Yamaha sold enough 2015s to qualify, but they didn't fill out the paperwork and submit the parts/fees...

Well, I went back and reread the thread just to make sure I was correct... And... not a single reference to Benoit winning BECAUSE he was on a 2 stroke. I get the frustration with people sounding like broken records bitching about Honda killing the 2 stroke etc. all of the conspiracy theories and so on. The fact is, Honda...

Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention but who said he was winning BECAUSE he was on a 2 stroke? I really think people just appreciate that someone on a 2 stroke is doing well and would like to see more of it. Didn't you post something a few days back about how 2 stroke lovers should go to a Canadian...

cslacker Added a reply to What sprockets/chain set do you run and why?

6/3/2015 11:00am
I purchased my sprocket and chain separately so I can't help you there. I have well over 100 hours on my rear ironman and it still looks new. I replaced the chain when the front sprocket started to wear at about 70 hours but I had no stretch and mostly did it out of guilt. There are no downsides in...

From what I have read that is correct. Which is why saying the sales numbers weren't high enough for homologation seems a bit misleading. 2013 & 14 250sx and 14 TC250 are all homologated. According to the 2strokemotocross team they had to request that KTM USA submit the $ and parts for homologation in 2013 so they could race them...

Try going closer to 105 with race sag. It should take some weight off the front end and make the bike track a bit better. Although it isn't as bad as the 97-98 frame, the 99-01 honda frame was still a bit too rigid for my tastes and that doesn't help your situation.
