Yes, it's early. But with the change in venue to the Glendale stadium, I've been receiving lots of inquiries about our plans for the event. Happy to report that I just sent this email to the distribution list from the past several years. If you're interested in the best Supercross weekend of the series, message me or email me (drmarkr at the gmail place) to get more info, or to reserve your spot!

"You're receiving this email because you've been involved in our Phx SX
Weekend sometime over the past few years. As you may or may not
know, the event is moving to the University of Phoenix Stadium in
Glendale, AZ.

We have excellent news with this change! Rather than the individual
suites that we've had at Chase Field, we will be now be moving our
event to one of the three "Party Lofts" at the new stadium. These
large, comfortable rooms feature great seating, flat screen TV's, and
both a cash bar, and made to order food selections served IN the Party
Loft!

The best news??? The cost for this new venue is only $90! That's
$35 LESS than last years prices at Chase Field.....

PLEASE NOTE! The Loft seats ONLY 124 people.....this is IMPORTANT!
Last year, we sold over 160 seats in our suites alone. If you want
a seat in our Party Loft. I need to hear how many you desire by
mid-August, and will need your payment before December 1st! There
will absolutely be a waiting list, so pay attention to these dates,
and get your funds to me by December 1st.

Are you changing the ride day from motoland to acp? It's closer to the Glendale stadium and I'm sure Bev could hook you up. Couple of buddies and I might be in if you're up for some new people.

I'll send you an email this weekend to confirm/pay, but I am in for the SX suite for 4 people.

Been wanting to do the suite thing you set up for several years- but just had conflicts with it being round 2 every prior year. This year is a new (better for us) later date, in a new (amazing) venue, we are in!

Thank you for arranging this every year, I can't even imagine the pain in the ass it must be to coordinate so many people. But every year, you step up and take on the task of being the ultimate SX party host!

We've had the Ride Day at ACP in the past (2005, actually). Bobby got hooked up with the KTM Demo Day and we moved to Grindingstone, and then to Motoland.

The reason we now use Motoland is the shooting portion of the event....they have a great place at the back of the property to set up for shoots. I'm not sure ACP has that option, and I suspect Bobby likes to have an open ride day on Friday? We get Motoland all to ourselves for our event.

Organizing this thing is a chore, but it's grown to be a great weekend. The folks that really need the props are TJ and his lovely wife Anna, who host the awesome party on Friday night....there's usually upwards of 150 people attending, and the food/beverages/hospitality are over the top!!
