I’ve had a 24 KX450 for about year and half, got a good deal on a year end leftover. I don’t have much to compare to, first 450 for me. Always been a 250 guy, but had to have a 450. I’d guess it’s as easy to ride as any 450. Turns good and stable too. It’s still a 450 and ya crank it…….it goes. I didn’t knock the plug out of the air box, fast enough as is. I also dumbed mine down with a 10 oz Steahly flywheel. Doesn’t spool up as quick and cut down engine braking...

I love how backyard this race is for such a big payout. Guys leading with no numbers, guys with one number on their back and a different number on their bike. Mechanics driving in homemade start grates before the race. Wild West!

I rode a 450 for years, recently went back to a 250f, 25 crf 250. Ive been having more fun riding this year than I can even remember. For me, its being able to hold it wide open and bang gears. What a blast. The 250's handle so much better, easier to turn, easier to change direction. Nothing scares me on this bike, it doesnt try to get away from me, and i always feel in control. Hammakers 26 KX 250F had the fastest lap time in qualifying last Saturday. Beat the best riders in the world who have extra 10hp and all that torque on their 450s. Just saying.

5/8/2026 4:28am I remember there was a point in the 90’s to 00’s we used to sand off the paint from bar clamps and etch a few grip lines inside the clamps. It was a known thing that stock bar clamps were a liability. Hate to sound like get off my lawn, but people know less about setting up a dirt bike...

These are some of the renderings I did for them to use . They had hard cover books made with detailed proposals for each brand as a part of the proposal package. The Team owner owned other business and was doing the MX stuff for fun and a tax write-off. They ran Mosquito Shield as a primary sponsor one year. That was his company that was new at the time and is now a franchised business. Having trouble uploading images . Keep getting error messages.
