Does anyone know if changing the cams , vavletrain, head or any porting or polishing would be against any kind of ama rules? Im curious for the upcoming loretta lynn qualifier so i know what i can and cannot do.

Ever since i got pillow top grips i have been getting uncontrollable umpump which resulted in a pretty nice crash. Can someone maybe lead me in a new direction for grips? Half waffle, diamond, full waffle, anything ?

You're engine might not be sucking in as much O2 as the rest of the bikes. Is your bike running normally? Do you feel it has enough power? Does it feel like there is a lack in power off the throttle?

Fuel inject is run by electronics, as carb is run by purely straight throttle if im not mistaken. The timing for both things are different, there is a lot more that goes into f.i as opposed to carb.

Im doing the top end on my 2012 kxf250 and i wanted to know if i should change my cylinder when i do it, the bike is running fine now but i was wondering if i should order it? Is there anyway to know before i disassemble the entire top end.

The bike is running fine right now, the only thing is there is a little pinging noise, but i think i need to go up to 100 octane.

While its apart your best bet would be to replace everything, it would suck to go to start your motor and have that one bearing seize on you, so go ahead and take your time keep everything nice and neat and good luck Smile
