When i called the closest motorsport dealership to purchase a 2024 CRF250R, they did not have it an asked if i wanted one. i said yes, and they just ordered it for me after i put down a deposit. i had to wait a few months for it.

Ok. I actually ended up loosening the buckles in mine. They felt way better and I had a bit more feel in my pegs, legs, and ankle flex.

Consider moving the shift lever up a notch or possibly a longer one. I had issues adapting to my last KX450 until I put a longer shifter on it.

Hey guys, Im 30 years old and went riding for the first time in 10 years this past Sunday and had a blast!! Luckily, I didn't lose any skill that I had in the past but I did notice that I had one hell of a time shifting in my new boots. I have the Gaerne SG22's. I don't remember...

Make sure the boots are well broken in. I always find that there's an adjustment period when I buy new boots; it's mostly because the boot is overly stiff when new. Put them on and walk around for a while to loosen the fit just a hair. Also, make sure you have them buckled up nice and snug.

I quit for longer than most are old on this site. It took a while to adjust from Hi Points back in the day to Gaerne’s. Just ride, it will get easier.

Just keep riding normally. You’ll start to get a lot of feel in them after a few rides. After a while you won’t even think about it.

Those types of passes aren't new. Seen guys get pushed off the track many times before, like Sexton and Hunter last year during 2024 outdoors(i forget where), but it was 5 min into the moto. Chase flew into him sideways, wheels collided, but luckily neither of them fell off their bikes. Cole is only 17, already has 2 SX wins in his rookie season, and has a whole career ahead of him. He will come back for sure as he progresses but he cant let Deegan catch up to him, like how hes won in the past.. Regarding Deegan, after...

UPDATE: Is about 70F. Going riding tomorrow for the first time this year. At this point the pump gas has burned through and it now running fully on the Race gas. The bike now starts without the fast knob pulled out after a few chugs. I just make sure to tap the starter to build pressure in the fuel line...

Thank you!! And yeah when I asked about best quality I was referring to an oils that can last long between oil intervals in extreme conditions. I still plan on doing my oil/filter every 2-3 hours so my engine can wear as it should overtime.

"Highest quality" is sort of a misnomer when talking about base oils. Ester based oils usually function in a way that is most preferable to high-performance engines, but there are some oils that are better in other ways. As mentioned above, changing your oil often is the best practice for long-term protection. To facilitate that, using a mineral oil like the GN4 is a great way to go; cost-effective and still very good. Here is a brief explanation of base oils. They are broken down into 5 groups, based on their composition and characteristics. (Moto Tribology can probably come on...

Exactly. My plan was to change oil and filter every 2-3 hours on the clock. The manual says it's good for up to 15 hours which sounds very risky. They also recommended that you use the GN4 mineral oil... They are not even recommending their high end oils for this bike. At least in the service manual...

Is the AI statement below true?? I have a brand new CRF250R with less than 1hr on it. Still has the original factory oil in it. I'm looking for the best possible race spec oil for the best protection. I'm looking to stick with Pro Honda but would like to hear other suggestions. I used GN4 in my old bikes...
