1/30/2022 6:52pm I’ve done the lake thing. It was a lot of work to learn a back flip. We did it 11 times in 1 day. Put floats on the bars and wheels. The plastic gets broken but the bike is fine. I then bought a foam pit and that was a lot better. And now I’m working on a blow up landing. If anyone has thoughts on the blow up it might be a better idea then the lake.

1/30/2022 6:52pm You dont need to hold a bike wide open to do a backflip, if you do your seriously doing it wrong 🤦🏼♂️ I Hope its a deep lake as if you already think you need to hold ot wide open all the way round then chances are your going in it still upside down and you dont wanna be hitting the floor under water with a bike ontop of you thats for sure

1/30/2022 6:48pm I am having thoughts about flipping a 125 into a pond but do not want to do any serious motor damage or electrical damage(bent rod, ruined electrical etc.) when backflipping a bike you’re usually wide open until you land, but I feel like landing on the gas into the water would immediately hydrolock it but it’s also kind of hard...

1/30/2022 6:46pm I’ve sank some machines (sleds, jet skis, boats) and have recovered many(worked at a marina as a mechanic). Never have I not had the machine back up and running the same day. Even 4T motors with turbos. Get the water out, and get it to operating temp before sinking it again. If a 4T change the oil till it’s fairly not milky then get it good and hot to cook the rest of the moisture out.

1/30/2022 6:45pm seeing your profile makes me realize you know what you're talking about, I just hope you can respect I'm not claiming to know how to backflip and this is just more of a huck it with somewhat good form and hope it comes around and if it doesn't then so what...and maybe try a few more times, all in good...

1/30/2022 6:41pm If it’s a 2 stroke. Just get the water out of it and run it up to make sure it’s out. Have seen plenty of bikes drowned refired and kept going

1/30/2022 6:41pm gotta get the shot man, mainly for my personal enjoyment and my homies and the fact that its gnarly. I'd still do it with no cameras but thankfully they're very common nowadays so there's no reason not to.

1/30/2022 6:38pm Do you have any back flip experience (foam pit, BMX or pit bike)? If not, what makes you think you can pull off a backflip (or something that resembles one) on your first and maybe only try? I'll look for you on failarmy.

1/30/2022 6:38pm never flipped a dirt bike, have flipped mtb and bmx but no way in hell am I going straight to dirt my first attempt. soft landing isn't about fear it's about having common sense and not going straight to dirt on my first attempt. you're correct about social media cred but it's more for my personal enjoyment, would/will get hella...

1/30/2022 6:33pm I've flipped mountain bikes and bmx, gotta look straight up/back and spot the landing(water). I think I can pull one around and if I do after however many tries it takes...I'm gonna do one more run after and then take it to dirt.

1/30/2022 6:30pm That was my first try. But thanks for breaking it down! This was also along time ago. There wasn’t a lot of YouTube videos and what not. Almost 20 years ago

1/28/2022 8:02am won't be trashed I'll get it running and do atleast 3 runs but social media views and follows are valuable to me anyway and it would be a fun experience. As long as someone gets the shot it'll be okay.

1/28/2022 7:59am blow up would be expensive I'm guessing? rent one for a couple days maybe and practice and get them around and then take it to dirt. fear isn't a factor in this I just need something somewhat soft to land into lol

1/28/2022 7:51am bringing crusty demons back this summer!! rock music moto edits, being retarded, blowing shit up and having fun with friends, we do this shit anyways but could get a good youtube following if I film it all and make videos out of it.
