3/27/2026 3:51pm John Starling is a great example of what every AMA Pro Racing official should aspire to be. He is respected by the riders and holds a line that doesn't get crossed. He shows personality and understanding while still being an authorative figure. Unfortunately these are things that I believe you either have or you don't have, they can't be learned. People in authority positions that don't have those qualities have to fake it and overcompensate. True colors always end up showing and Pelletier's colors are showing now. It's going to be nearly impossible for him to earn the respect back...

3/27/2026 3:50pm I’d love to see Chad Reed in a position like this. He’s obviously well educated in this and is a no bullshit won’t back down kind of guy. I feel like he would tell Pelletier to pound sand

3/27/2026 9:17am Ezra is probably tired of know it all people online blaming him for every mistake because he is the only name they know. He is/was literally one guy and wasn’t even in a decision making role. He was the liaison between the AMA and the riders. He was trying to help. The anger should be pointed at Mike Pelletier who is too afraid to announce or talk about the decisions he is approving because he “got death threats” about taking a lap away from Jett hitting the gate. Pelletier should stop hiding and acting like a pussy. Make common sense...

3/27/2026 4:55am Actually they went away from the yellow Acerbis markers before last season and the markers for outdoors and SX have been white since. I don’t disagree with the infraction and rule should be black and white, the problem is they haven’t been black and white in their decisions so far this year and have made head scratching calls and non-calls….it’s the inconsistency of how the AMA has enforced their rules that is the issue and this is just another example and that is what is upsetting…and now Matthes says they are no longer talking to the media about it…they need...

3/25/2026 7:25am Well, to be honest. HD did win. It’s trolls like you who try to get a reaction. Why not block you? It’s just ignorance. The soft one is you.

3/24/2026 8:17am The only reason Star allowed Deegan to be penalized is because it gave Davies an extra 3 point cushion over Hammaker. What was 3 is now 6. A win for Yamaha.

3/24/2026 7:54am First round no way I think Deegan would be very happy with a top 5 with the current field of 450s.

3/23/2026 4:17pm If you can’t quantify it, can’t demonstrate it, and can’t show he ended up ahead of where he should’ve been, then you don’t have an advantage. All you got is a guess. And honestly, the advantage isn’t even the real issue. AMA clearly thinks there was one, so fine, we defer to them as they are the judge, jury, and...
They penalized others as I understood it, so they most likely communicated that it's black or white calls unless someone "helps you" break the rule. Can't imagine everyone gained an advantage. If they had racer discretionary or non-blatant violations in there it's something else. The answer is in the future. If they continue black and white when needed, it's ok. Outdoor will be interesting. But also different rules can apply. If Deegan gets hurt with 2 races left, and wins title by 2 points and they didn't apply it as communicated?

3/23/2026 3:18pm Access to an illegal line” is not automatically a net advantage. The rule isn't “Any entry into an illegal line constitutes an advantage.” Yes, being in the illegal line is the conduct that starts the application of the rule, but it doesn't end there. Whether that conduct produced a net advantage is a separate discretionary determination. I will side w/...

3/23/2026 2:29pm JT likely interprets that the rule requires a net advantage, not a theoretical one. What did Deegan actually gain?

3/23/2026 2:05pm Because when you go to Loretta's there are not 60 250k RV's and kids with 30k Super Minis. Name someone in the last decade who did not spend a crap ton of money to race. And a big difference between 1977 and 2026. Pretty sure plenty of rich kids do not make it and Money can't buy speed.

3/23/2026 2:05pm Motocross isn’t a poor man’s sport and majority of the dudes lining up every weekend came from money. Then of course there’s a hundred thousand guys you don’t see on TV who also came from money and didn’t make it to the big show. Money doesn’t substitute natural ability and hard work. If you want to convince yourself otherwise coping because you’re a talentless nobody go ahead.
