How can anyone not love these guys? It's been a while since we've seen RC and Magoo style desire. Sasha is a treasure and I for one will appreciate every race this kid rides. Great kids, great family and an immense, uncommon desire to win. These guys will be national treasures over here!

I heard on one pod he was noted for taking that line 12 times during the race but there was only tv footage of him doing it 6 times plus the off track excursion so he got off lightly with just 7 spots.

I would not have been surprised if he either won or podiumed, he is that good. But with his and Brian’s trashy behavior I’m glad that he didn’t. They are insufferable enough as it is and he needs to eat some humble pie for as long as it takes for him to mature. I can’t stand what they are doing to the sport I love. I don’t need the made up drama for likes and clicks to enjoy moto and man I wish that media could stop milking this cow and feeding the trash group of the ”fans”.

I believe he is. On paper, he's one of the greatest, no question. But he wasn't flashy or controversial, so when people ask about greatest champions people will say MC, JS7 and RC4 before they say RD5 He kept a low key profile. Kept his nose clean. For the most part, his biggest controversies in this sport are the mechanicals discussed in this thread.

Miss the moto inside the outdoors so much! Fuel TV channel 618, I was in 5th grade and got off the bus at 3:50 everyday and turned my 10 minute walk into a 5 minute run to watch it every Wednesday at 4:00, then I waited for my dad to get home at 5 pm so he could watch me ride until the sun went down. Those were the days. Thankful I had someone like Dungey to look up to as a kid, Still seems like one of the most genuine and nicest dudes in the motocross scene.

Generally I would agree with you, for example, I NEVER thought anyone would have a chance to break Wayne Gretzky's goal scoring record, but Alex Ovechkin is actually going to do it! I mean he will never touch Wayne's overall points record, that is untouchable. RC's records are pretty fucking impressive-never having lost an outdoor title-10 straight-Can't see that ever being broken, nor his 150 win total. That is a lot of wins. Or his 2 undefeated outdoor seasons. Or lapping up the entire field at an AMA 450 outdoor race. These records to me are as untouchable as they...
