Really excited to start the 2025 SX season off by laying a decent foundation! Sorted through a bunch of obstacles throughout the day to start figuring things out for the night program and ended the main with 13th. Nothing spectacular and nothing too bad and I’m pretty excited about the room we have to grow. Really working on transitioning to the 450 style better than I have in years passed and it’s different, but doable. I’m an old broken up washed up motocrosser that discovered E-MTBs. I have a 21 Turbo Levo Comp that I ride average three times a week. I’ve had zero issues with mine.

Tomz, I always loved your events.. we had so much fun racing all over the world back then. I remember when I rode the ATK project one season , it was a completely one off bike (single down tube, aluminum gas tank, honda suspension, twin radiator, ect) handled like a dream but it was so slow. I went thru a motor every weekend practically. But it was still a fun adventure .

I love reading these posts about ex moto guys and their 60 yr old dads getting into the woods again on ebikes that’s totally mine and my dads story. We just picked up 21’ Specialized turbo levo comps. I’m 37 and all broken up from years of racing but these things have made it possible to ride and climb things...

It has enabled my 60 year old father and I to going riding together for the first time in years. It seems to help his MX riding skills (balance, grip) and the fresh air does him well. I would recommend buying something with Shimano or Specialized motor. My friends have had problems with the Bosch.

I did the same thing 16 years ago. It will eventually stop hurting, strengthen the muscles around it, the clicking and popping will become normal. The only fix is to just replace the ligament with ties. You’ll be just fine buttercup.
