run a 48 and 46 spring for the 250
That FC looks sick. Hope the FE300's look like them. The Ktm graphics guy must of knocked off at 2pm, looks half finished

I knew it was close to that. If you run your oil that low make sure you change it a lot more frequent
trax shock are not much of an improvement over standard. is bmore economic ways to get a better shock. Puts flame suit on waiting for people who want to justify their trax shock cost to tell me i'm wrong

You can do KYB conversion to CC fork relatively easy, all you need to do it rethread the lug for the KYB rebound bolt. Xplor, 4CS, AER conversion all require a clamped adaptor to be used which makes the rebound bolt poke out. I have done a heap and there ... more »
I haven't measured it. You can tell just looking at the seal design and feeling the seal material it will be more slippery, even more so than the 18's

yes I use the SKF kit, i also use an Ohlins grease with a bit of Ohlins oil. I also got my inner tubes kashima coated, stiction is gone now
Nothing wrong with AER forks. They work fantastic
Andy, at 40hrs there will be broken springs. When the springs break you lose all rebound damping. MX use will see that 40hrs drop to 15-20hrs. Springs are only around $5 each so extra $25 on top of service which i'm not sure if shops charge more for ... more »
Trax require a lot of maintenance, expect to have it apart every 40hrs at most to replace the little springs. Having had a trax before I didn't feel the performance justified the expense. For my next bike I chose to mod the stock shock. DLC, Kashima,

Called a delta shim. Notice the piston has 3 round ports? nothing special about them, slightly softer than a full shim but also allow more oil to flow past. Can be used in either compression or rebound stack
