Just purchased a 17 150SX with the suspension set up for 200 lbs. I’m a brisk 150, and don’t have the extra dough to send it back to Factory Connection to have it revalved at the moment. I don’t have any experience with the air forks, and his may be a stupid question, but what can I do in the meantime to compensate for the weight difference? Remove oil? Lower the air pressure? I have the stock spring for the rear shock, so I’ll put that on to help on the rear. Any suggestions are appreciated.
You could also call FC and give them the name of whoever you bought the bike from (assuming they had the suspension done) and get the settings. They would probably advise you best on what to do to make it work for you. You may not even need to change valves or shims.
I'm also on a TX300
