It's the reason that's listed in his own response to his racing career. The team saw that he wasn't putting the effort in and decided to part ways. They had him for a couple years as an amateur and with their crew tried to get him to commit but...well, his own posts explains it.

Dyno was done on stock ECU and CA 91 pump fuel. Yeah numbers don't mean much because all dynos read different. It's more about the % gains. Jrewing- Exactly, when I first was riding the bike with stock exhaust I was actually shift too early because I felt that dip/flat spot. The bike pulls much smoother to the top now but I still want to mess with some ECU changes to make it pull harder towards the top.

Just got the email today from Yoshimura releasing the dyno chart: 
The max HP on their dyno was just over 51hp.

So some bullet points on the exhaust set up. I got the stainless system and there is no weight savings. Fitment and install was spot on, so clean and perfect on the bike. The oem system does not require shock removal any more! On the track, the biggest improvement was the smooth pull through the top, the stock system feels like it signs off early. Couldn’t say if I felt much on the bottom end, maybe more snap and throttle response. But overall smoothness and clean pull to the top.

I’d assume Yoshimura did a slip on only dyno, I can ask. The header is significantly longer then stock so I bet a lot of gains come from that. The R&D guy said the stock header was very good, just crazy heavy!

Got the Guts Phantom foam and cover on there. About the same firmness as stock. Feels thinner, the shape on the top is more pointed then the oem is very flat. You can actually see the taper on the photo

The Twisted Development ECU is awesome, I’ve been running map 1 and 3. They connected it to the stock bar control so I can have 3 maps to choose from at a time while riding. 
I found that the maps give the bike more snap, more bark. Jamie also was able to reduce some engine breaking and the off throttle isn’t so abrupt. I love this feel, makes the bike handle so much better!

Got a 51t and new chain to try at Glen Helen. Looking to have some more pull out of the corners and extend the wheel base.

Dropped my 350 off at Yoshimura R&D yesterday for fitment and dyno. They have done hours and hours of testing on the 250. Expecting some big things!

Cleaned up the whole bar situation and use Ducati rubber straps I found on eBay to hold the wires in place. Swapped out the bars with Renthal Fat bar. Used my old ROCS clamps with PHDS bar mounts. I found this combo dramatically reduced the vibration and harshness of stock bars/clamps. Took some sting out of the small chop and square edge bumps

Got my FasterUSA wheels on with the CRF axle and Yoshimura blocks. Wrapped everything with some ti. Some pieces I had from my last bike, some were new... oops 
I rode at Glen Helen today and am contemplating the gearing. I always felt like I needed to be a gear down in corners. Going to ride another track but I’ll test the 51t on there.

I got my cone valves on there already and a bunch of parts I’m testing/swapping over. 
Got this P3 carbon skid plate made thin so it’s more flexy then normal. It’s super strong and only weights .5 lbs!

Put my Kawi throttle and cable so it can route in front of the bars.

Very stoked to pick up this 19 350 in Oregon!

Hey guys. Just picked up the new Honda CRF450RWE last week and finally had a chance to take it out for its first rip this weekend. Since there was so much positive feedback on my last GoPro, I decided to grab some clips and make a little "first ride impressions" video on the day. Gotta say, Honda absolutely killed it with this beast!
