There is some land up in Hinkley by Barstow that would make a great MX track and it will never have an issue up there.

Tough situation either way. Regardless, that jump wasn’t what gave him a 6 second lead over Kenny. I don’t want Ken to get his first win since his comeback because of something dumb like this. A win is a win, I guess.

My visor stays on pretty good. Ill bet it has to do with the custom paint in some way. Maybe it adds thickness thus reduces strength of the magnets?

I mean, I had bought six of my own bikes from when I was 16 to 20, so it wasn't that bad....but it was weird... I'll still be getting loaner bikes from OEMs, but I've also decided it would be a bit easier to have some personal machines again. I'll probably pick up one 2020 450 and one 2020 250 when they come out. No sure which ones, I'm already thinking about it though... As for the KX450, it was my Shootout pick for the year so I'm putting my money where my mouth is.

I rode a 450L this weekend that was set up real nice - excess fender crap all cut off (saves weight), Yosh pipe (w/ stock ECU), proper dirt tires, suspension work. Here's a pic of the ol' girl. Thing rode amazing! IMO, after they were first announced the 450L's got a bad rap regarding the weight and HP claims. I rode the bike in some tight 1st and 2nd gear single track with some nasty rocks. The extra weight actually helps charge through the rocks compared to my lighter '18 500exc, which sometimes deflects a bit in rocky stuff. BUT...

I can think of a reason or two but don’t know for sure why he’s gone, so I’m not going to speculate as to why. But if you listened to the show you’ll hear I said “I’m not surprised” without missing a beat when Matthes brought it up. Edit: According to a message that was just passed to me, he quit of his own regards. Newborn twins, done traveling, his decision.
