A couple things that make me think you don't understand how an economy works: 1. Most if not all billionaires don't have a checking or investment account where they hide their billions from us peasants, they have that money tied up in company stock, real estate, etc. In order to tax unrealized gains you would essentially be forcing them to sell off their assets, which in turn hurts everyone. You don't get to that level of wealth by just saving and hording money, you deploy the capital to build businesses that create jobs to employ people and products for people...

We are far to reliant on Chinese crap. They literally steal IP and close their economy to outside fair trade. Chinese workers are already feeling the pinch of slower production and they don't like it. Tariffs can level a playing field and also spur production in this country (which we need and has no downside). I am willing to let this play out for a while yet. Sitting on your hands, like has been done for decades, has damaged this country's production ability by sending a lot of manufacturing overseas and south.

What the clown in the video doesn't understand is, this isn't a game about who pays the tariffs or the fact that prices go up. This is 100% about brining manufacturing back to the US. A country can't survive and ever thrive by solely being a consumer society. A country has to make products and manufacture goods. This is about boosting manufacturing in the USA, which brings higher paying and better jobs for the middle class and lower class Americans.
