Been wanting a new dirt bike for a couple of years now and finally bought this 22 YZ125X from Libby’s Motoworld in New Haven CT. First new bike in almost 10 yrs. Sort of a 60th birthday present to myself. Everyone at Libby’s was super cool to me. I actually put a deposit on it last year and it came in this week.
The product is not great at MXGP right now. I went to Matterley and I left disheartened and disappointed. 23 riders racing around a track that size is really not much of a spectacle. You had a group of 15 that were relatively close together, and after that, 3/4 of a lap of mostly empty track with the odd rider dotted around riding around on their own. This has long been a problem with MXGP, it’s been papered over by the fact that we’ve had some of the best riders we’ve ever seen at the front every week creating amazing...
Who's # 11 on the CR500? Looks not big enough to be this bloke, from the 2017 Hawkstone International - Barry Turnbull, on his 87 CR500 : PS : Bugger, I think I just missed his name, just as I went to put the bins out! PPS : It Is Big Barry! - they just got the timing up. Yay Bazza!
proud of the czech and slovak bois giving it a go especially in EMX classes and MX2 this year. in MX2 Polak and Terešák would be great if they can crack the top15 but unfortunatel i think they are not destined to be above average result-wise. in EMX125 i'm interested if the starts will bail out Mikula with a few top 10 finishes even this year. Marek should make a big step if he stays healthy. in EMX-OPEN i would bet money on Jošt. He is flying under the radar all the time but he is fast as fuck boiii...
I own a 03 YZ and 06 RM. They were my two Covid builds. So far I only have one ride on the RM but i am so much more confident riding it than the Yamaha.
