IF Reed and Bubba go 1 and 2 (either one of them 1st and second) for the rest of the season, then Reed has to win at least one. But if Bubba get's a 3rd that all changes.

Jeff Emig nailed it when he said Reed forced Stewart "out of his comfort zone". What I hate is people that bring up the fact that Stewart hasn't lost a SX when he hasn't crashed. It's true, but the only reason is because when it is a close race and he is pressured out of his comfort zone he goes...

Chad definitely looks more comfortable, and James will say whatever gets him paid in interviews. But how about Josh Grant showing that he will be on the podium more often than not (I know it doesn't mean much from a grant fan). Either way, it's looking to be an exciting season and there is no doubt Reed is way faster...

I think that the smirk may have had a lot more to do with getting in a wreck and still finishing on the podium. But you are right that nobody can deny that he has the speed to run with Bubba. At least so far.

I remember the same thing happening to K-Dub. Serious rider safety issue, but as mentioned, a close call isn't enough for the AMA. My solution, print the sponsors on 3M vinyl, then you can just stick that to the tuff blocks (because it is so impairitive to have sponsors on there, and you may even end up getting 3M involved...

In all fairness, that bike went through one hell of a wreck before James tried to start it again. There are no guarantees any bike would have restarted after that.
