How convenient they are blaming Trump for Kimmel being cancelled. His ratings have declined over 50% in the last ten years. In the coveted advertising range of 22-54 year olds it’s decline a staggering 75%. Disney was just waiting for a reason to kick that turd to the curb. Colbert show was losing a staggering $40,000,000 a year. It wasn’t Trump that cancelled Kimmel and Colbert. Capitalism cancelled them. Both are bad for business. Both had staggering drops in viewers. Both were losing millions of dollars a year. Good riddance.

I agree with your first two paragraphs. A persons employer firing them for making fun of a murder is the employers right. Just like it was Kimmel’s right to say the things he did. Just because you have freedom of speech, doesn’t mean your coworkers/employer need to be ok with a person making light of or, condoning heinous acts. Freedom of speech in the US is only there to protect you from criminal charges unlike other countries. He represents his employer. I would’ve fired his ass too. I got fired for calling a coworker a pussy from my last employer...
