I want to like the guy but with stuff like this it's no wonder he has the reputation he has. Even in the best of times he's still complaining about some random bullshit. Hey bud, Here in Atlanta, they have a “don’t chase” policy. Not sure if it’s by law or just to keep it safe”er”. The times I’ve witnessed, some officers throw up a hand and wave. The riders I’ve witnessed, aren’t bouncing off medians, finding berms to rail or jumping overpasses. I was looking for all those obstacles while riding. I was told I was a crazy white dude and to settle down. 😂😂😂

I've watched the last 2 years of Aussie MX Nationals and while different than our Nationals, its good racing. Didn't Metcalfe do pretty decent in the Canadian Nationals years back as well? Keep thinking he raced up there when either Milsap and Alessi were up there or maybe some of the years Matt Goerke was up there. Metty was always good in the sand. He had a good ride in MX all over the world

Checked with DC, and he says he never actually had a media pass, as he doesn't represent a media outlet. He asked for one mid-way through LL, and they did deny it. Simply put, insurance issues are becoming huge for the races and a filmer focusing on people riding through flaming hoops, crashing pit bikes drunk, etc is an issue for the promoters and series as they battle these issues from a legal standpoint.
